Position Overview
We are seeking skilled and reliable Installers to join our team and support the execution of tradeshow booths, retail displays, and experiential activations.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments. This role involves assembling, installing, and dismantling custom-built exhibits both locally and at out-of-town events. Installers will work closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Production teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Installation & Execution
- Assemble, install, and dismantle custom tradeshow booths and display structures.
- Read and interpret basic drawings, plans, and setup instructions.
- Ensure all elements are installed safely, securely, and to specification.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor on-site issues as they arise.
Warehouse & Preparation
- Assist with pre-builds, packing, and staging of materials in the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks with materials and equipment.
- Ensure all required tools, hardware, and components are prepared for each job.
Logistics & Travel
- Travel to local and out-of-town job sites as required (including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends).
- Work on-site at tradeshows, event venues, and client locations.
- Assist with loading, transport, and return of materials post-event.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Project Managers and team members to execute installations efficiently.
- Communicate progress, issues, and site conditions clearly.
- Represent SEQUOIA professionally on job sites and when interacting with clients.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in construction, fabrication, tradeshow installation, or a related field is an asset.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
- Physical Capability: Able to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Takes pride in clean, accurate, and high-quality work.
- Adaptability: Able to work in fast-paced environments and adjust to changing conditions on-site.
- Team Player: Positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license is an asset.
Salary Range
- $25 – $35 per hour (based on experience)
- Overtime and travel pay may apply depending on project requirements.
